Mayweather and Conor McGregor edging closer towards possible mega-fight
If you’ve got a spare N1,552,000,000 down the back of the sofa you could get yourself Floyd Mayweather’s 2015 Bugatti Veyron.
The boxing star sold one of his fleet of cars to a company called Luxury Auto Collection who are looking to re-sell.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse boasts a top speed of 254mph and Mayweather’s version came in black with a bright orange interior.
Mega-rich car enthusiasts have been given the chance to purchase the Bugatti as LAC put it up for auction on eBay.
With only 150 made worldwide, the Veyron Sport Grand Vitesse is a highly sought after prize and should attract plenty of attention.
Mayweather is no stranger to attention himself and has attracted plenty of headlines in recent weeks over his mooted fighter against Conor McGregor.
The duo are yet to finalise a deal but Mayweather’s bank account would be distinctly boosted should an agreement be reached.
The Nevada Athletic Commission have said they will green light the contest to be put on in Las Vegas though McGregor will need to apply for his boxing license.
Financial particulars appear to be the remaining obstacle to negotiations with the UFC wanting a percentage.
Mayweather’s lavish lifestyle is well-known but the sale of his Bugatti will be paltry in comparison to the money he would receive for going toe-to-toe with McGregor in what would be one of the biggest fights of all time.
