Juventus could be champions again today if they beat Torino at Turin this evening. The Italian champions are 9 points ahead second placed Roma who will travel to the San Siro to face AC Milan on Sunday.
AC Milan are only 5 points below the Europa League qualification spot and will be looking to displace Atalanta in the few approaching fixtures. This makes the trip to San Siro a difficult one for Roma and if AC Milan takes the day, Juventus may be announced Italian Champions for the sixth time on a streak.
Juventus beat Monaco 2-0 away from home to fortify their possibility of playing this year’s Champions League final, whilst waiting for the June 2nd Copa Italia final against Lazio, meaning the old ladies still has a chance to win a treble this season.
Massilimiano Allegri’s men will be displacing Inter Milan as the team with the most consecutive league titles, 2012-2016 (6 years) in sharp contrast with Inter Milan’s 5 year dominance (2006-2010). The Bianconeri have lost only 4 league games this season and will be looking to keep it 4 when they face Roma, Crotone and Bologna in their last three fixtures.
