According to the French media sources, Liverpool have asked Paris Saint-Germain about the availability of their attacking star Lucas Moura ahead of the summer transfer window.
The reports from L’Equipe suggest that the Brazil international is aware that the League 1 champions are prepared to sell him this summer if the right offer is made. But the Reds will face strong competition for the signature of 24-year-old as s La Liga giant Atletico Madrid are also in the race.
It is believed that former Sao Paolo star is happy in the French capital with his Brazilian team-mates Thiago Silva and Marquinhos, although Liverpool’s South American contingent could help the winger’s transition to Anfield.
But the future of speedy winger at Parc Des Prices could be uncertain if club manager Unai Emery leaves the club at the end of the campaign.
The Brazilian No.7, who is valued at £30m by his club, has been a regular member of the starting XI under Emery in Ligue 1, scoring ten goals and providing five assists in 35 appearances.
Lucas Moura will also have two years remaining on his current contract deal with League 1 giants this summer.
