Manchester City kept their Top four hopes in their own hands by beating Westbrom 3-1 on Tuesday night at the ETIHAD.
Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne started an early rout in what can be called a 2 minutes spell as the duo found the back of the net in the 27th and 29th minutes respectively.
City kept the command in the game before Ivorian, Yaya Toure made it three 12 minutes after the break. For the Ivorian who amidst a lot of Headlogs with Manager Pep Guardiola, is looking to renew his contract at the Manchester club, there was no better time to score.
After climbing to the 3rd position on the table with 75 points , City will now need just a point on the Final Match Day to seal themselves in the top 4 position regardless of the result in the games involving other contenders such as Liverpool and Arsenal.
But Pep Guardiola who has admitted that his job is under pressure will be looking to avoid UCL playoff by grabbing maximum points on Final Match Day to ensure the blue half of Manchester gets the 3rd spot.
