FINAL MATCH DAY: WENGER VOWS TO FIGHT TO THE END

Arsene Wenger has warned that the fight for the top 4 position is not yet over.

The French man spoke at a pre-match conference in a build up to the FINAL MATCH DAY of the season.

Arsenal are in 5th position with 72 points, behind 4th placed Liverpool with 73 points. Arsenal also have a goal difference of 31, 2 less than Liverpool’s 33.

The gunners welcome Everton to Emirates on Sunday afternoon at the same time when Liverpool will be facing relegated Middlesbrough at Anfield. The Anfield side will need maximum points to shut Arsenal out of any possibility of Champions League football, hence in this fight for the 4th position, Liverpool seem to be in the driving seat.

This is the only fight left in the Premier League and Arsene Wenger will be relying on Liverpool’s downfall to make his usual European appearance in the Champions League, something many Arsenal fans are actually tired of.
