Borussia Dortmund have declared that no club interested in signing Ousmane Dembele will get the talented Frenchman this summer.
The 20-year-old only joined the Bundesliga giants from Rennes last year, but his future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks.
Reports in Spain claim that Barcelona remain keen on signing Dembele, who held talks with the Spanish side before choosing to sign for Dortmund.
Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the France international, but Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc insists the youngster is going nowhere.
Asked if he would be sold this summer, Zorc told Die Welt: ‘No way.
‘What we’ve seen from him was extraordinary, both in his value for the team and his development.
‘You always get the feeling he can do something special, make the difference. He can decide games by himself, even those games he’s not really involved in.’
Speaking about his contact with Barca last summer, Dembele was adamant that he was not looking to leave Dortmund after just one season.
He told Mundo Deportivo: ‘Last year I had contact with the Barcelona sports director.
‘I’m good at Dortmund. I have a contract until 2021. I don’t pay attention to what is said.’
Ousmane Dembele have also made the Didier Dieschamps French squad and he is most likely to star for Les Blues in the 2018 World Cup in Russia
