The Whites’ next opponents in the Champions League secured the win in the first half thanks to a brace from Philipp and a goal from Aubameyang just before the break.
The Gabon international netted twice more, completing his hat-trick, which makes him the top scorer in the German league (8 goals). Weigl finished off the masterclass with a goal from outside the box.
this result sees Borussia Dortmund top the Bundesliga with five wins, a draw and no losses. Peter Bosz’s team are looking hard to beat both in attack and defence: they are the team who have scored most in the league (19 goals), and have yet to concede.
