KONDOGBIA NOT GIVING UP ON WORLD CUP CALL UP

Valencia and France midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia is taking a shot at making France team to the World Cup in Russia.

Kondogbia is currently on-loan at Valencia from Italian giants Internazionale.

On making the France team handled by Coach Didier Deschamps, he said in an interview with French magazine L’Equipe “Do I still believe it? Yes, I believe in it, but we must not deny it, it won’t come cheap.

We know the quality in the team; we have got top quality players who are doing so well in their respective clubs.

You’ve got to be realistic, but you have to believe it, be on the lookout and give everything until the end of the season.

If you ask me do I dream of being at the World Cup? Like any Footballer, Yes I do, I think about it. I dream like anyone else and yes. I am upbeat.

This is not pretence, so far from it, but if you want to achieve certain goals, you must believe it.

Kondogbia and his Valencia team are fourth position on the La Liga standings having accumulated 56 points from 28 matches and just a point behind third placed Real Madrid who have 57 points in the same number of
matches played.
