Tottenham Manager, Mauricio Pochettino believes starman’s injury won’t last for too long as the North London side looks to fight for the third position.
Tottenham striker, Harry Kane suffered an ankle injury in Spurs 4-1 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium after he collided with goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
With just 30 mins played,Kane got on to the end of a sublime pass from Danish playmaker Christen Eriksen before running into the Cherries stopper.
He was able to put the ball at the back of the net,but the flag had already gone up for offside.
After the collision, he was unable to continue as it was alleged that he has hurt his ankle.He was therefore replaced by Erik Lamela in the 34th minute of the game.
Mauricio Pochettino admitted concern over the England star man injury at his post match interview.
“Yes we are concerned because we still need to wait till tomorrow or next after the scan to know the extent of the injury, I hope its not a massive problem”said the Spurs coach.
Danny Rose and Dele Alli were the other injury concern as they were both withdrawn during the match,The club will hope its nothing serious as they are in the quest to make the UCL spots for next season.
Goals from Dele Alli, Serge Aurier and a brace from Heung Min Son gave Tottenham a comfortable 4-1 win to leapfrog Liverpool into third position with a point and just eight more matches to round off the season.
