This summer, 32 teams will head to Russia for a month-long festival of football, which will see one team crowned the best on the planet.
After again strolling through qualification, Gareth Southgate’s England team will be looking to end 52 years of hurt, but will need a drastic improvement on their group stage exit in Brazil.
Germany will start as one of the favourites as they look to defend their crown, while Brazil have been impressive in recent months and will fancy their chances of notching up another win.
Hosts Russia will kick the tournament off on with a game against Saudi Arabia.
They will play the team drawn second in Group A at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
It’s a 4pm kick-off, so you might need to wangle an early finish from work.
