So, after we are all greeted by the tantalizing UCL draws, focus returns to the premier league this weekend. It’s Week 31 people.

But before we get to the point where we talk about Liverpool’s chances of moving to the top of the table again, let’s take a look
at the Saturday games that won’t involve any of the 2 top teams in England at the moment.

Four games including the Manchester derby have been postponed majorly due to the FA Cup matches and that leaves us with just three ties to forecast for Saturday in the premier league.

  1. Bournemouth V Newcastle 16/03/2019
Both teams sitting comfortably close to each other in the 12th and 13th position respectively, Neither teams have been very convincing this term apart from the big shock they gave to the bigger teams earlier in the year. Newcastle beat City 2-1 while Bournemouth thumped Sarri’s Chelsea by 4 goals to nil.

Scoreline opinion: Bournemouth 3-1 Newcastle

  1. Burnley V Leicester City 16/03/2019

Burnley are relegation threatened and may need to go all out to start earning points as the close of the season draws near
Meanwhile, new Leicester boss, Brendan Rodgers is on an assignment to lift the foxes game and may get them a little better position other than 10th. It is a tricky tie.

Scoreline opinion: Burnley 2-2 Leicester

  1. Westham V Huddersfield 16/03/2019
The hammers have been very impressive this season, sitting 9th on the log and have made life difficult for the top teams as well.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men may just make life worse for Huddersfield who are already relegation bound sitting 20th on the table.

Scoreline opinion: Westham 4-1 Huddersfield

  1. Fulham V Liverpool 17/03/2019
Liverpool just got off a very encouraging win by displacing mighty Bayern in their own comfort. A performance Klopp tagged as the most mature performance since he joined Liverpool. The reds need to bring that performance to the table when they face an improving Fulham side who have lost their last two premier league games despite replacing Scott Parker with the fired Claudio Ranieri.
A very noteworthy side of the clash is Ryan Babel having to face his former team after a very long time.

Scoreline opinion: Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

  1. Everton V Chelsea 17/03/2019

Everton are poised to make this game a real battle for blues, and if the rumours are anything to go by, Sarri needs this game to keep his job at the bridge.
But if the Toffees manage to reproduce their performance at the Merseyside derby, this might be a very difficult tie for Chelsea.

Scoreline opinion: Everton 2-2 Chelsea

Watford V Crystal Palace: Palace to win 1-2
Swansea V Man City: Man City to win 0-4
Wolves V Man Utd: Wolves to win 2-1
Millwall V Brigton: Millwall to win 1-0
