Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho is reportedly keen to re-join Liverpool on loan this summer.
Coutinho’s future at Camp Nou has been the subject of speculation since the end of the 2018-19 campaign, having struggled to produce his best form for the Spanish giants.
The 27-year-old, who helped Brazil win the Copa America earlier this month, has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League over the last month or so. This has been made worse by the arrival of Antoine Griezman from Atletico Madrid.
According to Calciomercato, Coutinho has now approved a two-year loan offer from Liverpool, which would include an option to make the deal permanent for £88m.
The attacker scored 54 times in 201 appearances for Liverpool ahead of a switch to Camp Nou in January 2018.
Coutinho struck 11 times for Ernesto Valverde’s side during the 2018-19 campaign, with five of those coming in 33 La Liga appearances.
