Barcelona and Brazilian forward, Phillipe Coutinho is set to reject a loan move that will take him to Tottenham for the 2019/2020 season.
After a number of clubs, including former side Liverpool, as well as Man United and Arsenal, were rumoured to be interested in striking a deal to bring Coutinho back to the Premier League.
The former Liverpool talisman had been barred from returning to the Anfield club earlier in the transfer window when his former manager, Jurgen Klopp suggested that the move won’t be necessary.
Tottenham were leading the race for the 27-year-old, who has been told he can leave Camp Nou – but he now looks poised to remain in Catalonia for the forthcoming campaign.
After other reports claiming that the Brazilian was ready to fight his way into the Barcelona team, it seems the former Liverpool man is yet to fix himself up as per where he will be playing in the fast approaching season.
