New Tottenham Manger, Jose Mourinho has praised the just departed Mauricio Pochettinho for the job done so far at the club.
Mourinho expressed his respect for the Argentine at his first press conference as Spurs Manager on Thursday afternoon.
“I think I have to do this, I have to do it, I have to speak about Mauricio. I have to congratulate him for the work he did, and I have to share with you what we already shared indoors, which is, this is desirably always his home, this training ground will always be his training ground, he can come when he wants. When he miss the players, when he miss the people that he worked with, the door is always opened for him..” he began.
Mourinho was hired on Wednesday to replace the Argentine who helped Spurs to the Champions League final last season.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid Manager believes Pochettinho has made good precedence at the london club and will soon get another good job to continue his brilliant career.
“And from my experience, tomorrow is another day, and he will find happiness again, he will find a great club again, and he would have a great future, like in modern days, is always a bad time when you lose a job because that is how life is, the point is, we give everything, everything like he did to the club, and to leave not with a sad feeling but with the feeling that you did a great work. I will like to say that because it is what everybody at the club feels about it.He will be always welcome.” Mourinho said.
Tottenham made Jose Mourinho the second highest paid Manager in the World with an offer of 15 million pounds a year deal after the Portuguese signed a three and half year contract.
