LEEDS 5-2 NEW: WHITES RETURN TO WINNING WAYS, SCORE FIVE TO BEAT MAGPIES AT ELLAND ROAD.

Leeds United scored four second-half goals as they earned a 5-2 comeback victory over Newcastle United.

Newcastle went in front after 26 minutes as Jeff Hendrick fired in at the back post.

But Patrick Bamford nodded in from close range nine minutes later to equalise, and the home side went in front on 61 minutes, with Jack Harrison’s volleyed cross being met by a superb diving header from Rodrigo.

The lead only last four minutes as Ciaran Clark’s header made it 2-2. But Leeds went back in front in the 77th minute as Stuart Dallas headed in from Mateusz Klich’s cross.

A close-range strike by Ezgjan Alioski was then followed by a stunning solo effort from Harrison, which sealed Leeds’ second home win of the season with two minutes remaining.

They climb to 13th place on 17 points, ahead of 14th-placed Newcastle on goal difference.
