Shamrock Rovers suffered a tough home defeat in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Stephen Bradley’s side welcomed Sparta Prague to Tallaght Stadium for their first-leg encounter, which ended in a 2-0 victory for the visitors.
Veljko Birmancevic netted in the first half, followed up by a goal from Tomas Wiesners after the break.
The second leg will see the Dubliners travel to the Czech capital on July 30th.
